Tentative Interdisciplinary Course List
This list is subject to change. Please check the course schedule on
Triton Link for the latest information.
The following is a tentative list of courses available at UCSD for the 2008-2009 school year that are approved to satisfy the requirements of the Latin American
Studies Program. Classes that are marked with the caveat "petition only" need a petition to be approved for LAS and students may need special approval from the instructor to enroll. The LAS Director will assess the class and determine if it is acceptable for LAS. This list is dynamic and subject to on-going revisions.
Courses not included in this list may be considered for credit based on
content and must be petitioned. Contact Nancy Guerrero, the LAS Student Affairs
Coordinator, with any questions on course offerings or petitioning courses.
Language courses are encouraged but do not fulfill course requirements for
Latin American Studies degrees.
