Unique Course: Introduction to Zapotec

Developed by Pam Munro, Brook Danielle Lillehaugen, and Felipe H. Lopez

This course is designed to give students a working command of Valley Zapotec, an indigenous language of Oaxaca, Mexico, spoken by many immigrants to California. The course presents a new simplified system for writing Valley Zapotec with a guide to pronunciation, along with information on building Valley Zapotec words and sentences.
