Academic Background:
PhD in Sociology by University of the Basque Country. Lecturer in the Anthropology Department at the University of Chile and researcher for the Collective Identity Research Center at the University of the Basque Country. He has been visiting researcher at the Institut des Hautes Etudes de L´Amerique Latine (IHEAL) at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University-Paris III (2004) and at the CILAS (2005).
