Field of Expertise: Sanchez's interests include transnational and global studies; gender, race, ethnicity and the law; and sexuality and culture. Her current research invloves a comparative analysis of tourism destinations and development in the Caribbean, including Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Yucatan Peeninsula in Mexico.
