Project title: Social Representations of Science and Technology: an international comparative approach

Current Research Project
The project attempts to renovate the traditional approach about the public understanding of science and technology. For that, it takes into account the notion of social representations and makes a critical review of the arguments and empirical evidence that have constituted the grounding of the standard frame.

Academic Background
PhD in Sociology by Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is currently a Full Professor in the Sociology Department at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.
